Mirarri yacht uses glass dome for sheltered interior

Designer Timur Bozca and the UAE-based Enata Group team up for the latter’s inaugural luxury yacht and brand, Mirarri. It cruises around the sea with a dynamic and tinted glass dome, inspired by the bone structures of birds. The semi-transparent shelter lets the passengers see the panoramic views outside, lends structural integrity to the full-beam superstructure made of carbon fiber and titanium of the water vehicle, and helps create an expansive interior space so guests can stand and mingle while on board.

Organic structures run throughout the design of the Mirarri yacht. Timur Bozca and Rashed Al Shaali of Enata Marine employ carbon fiber, Kevlar, and titanium around the water vehicle to make the yacht as lightweight and robust as possible. The onboard environment evokes spaciousness, from the outdoor entertainment to the open settings on the two ends of the yacht. A dedicated barbecue and bar area emerges on the aft deck, serving as the venue for social gatherings and al fresco dining with sea views.

The 17-meter Mirarri yacht is expected to be constructed primarily using carbon fiber and titanium. Stepping inside the water vehicle, the lounge area is spacious, with cushioned benches that follow the form of the interior and continue to slope down toward the aft deck. The setup allows for socializing since guests are seated in front of each other, giving them more area to walk around. There’s also a pop-up table that can be stowed and used as a dining table and desk, and a large-screen television provides onboard entertainment to the guests.

The carbon fiber and titanium-built Mirarri yacht also feature the Wingman software that can enable the owner to remotely control various aspects of the yacht, perform over-the-air updates, conduct remote diagnostics, and implement preventive maintenance. Going down, the yacht comes with two full-beam cabins, adorned with vibrant colors and contemporary design elements, to accommodate the owner and his guests while cruising. As of publishing the story, the first Mirarri yacht is currently under construction and expected to be delivered in 2025 (first in UAE).
