LumiPod Cabin Settles Amidst Villa Besson’s Iconic Architecture
Lumicene, in collaboration with Haute Renommee Gallery, introduces the new high-end LumiPod cabin set amidst the iconic 20th-century architecture of Villa Besson, crafted by architect Jean Balladur. Positioned within the R55 estate, the rounded wooden pod grants exclusive access to the renowned villa, complemented by the integrated LumiPod 5 bedroom and LumiPod Sauna. Nestled near Chantilly, guests can explore the rich historical surroundings and indulge in a selection of nearby restaurants. The minimalist design of the 20 sqm LumiPod, entirely crafted in French workshops, features a unique 120° reversible curved window, paying homage to the Villa’s bold lines and technical ingenuity.

bespoke oak fittings and ceramic tiles adorn LumiPod 5’s interior
Attention to detail is paramount in Lumicene‘s design, evident in the bespoke oak veneer cabinetry, Cradle-to-Cradle certified Mosa ceramic tiles, and suspended king-size bed. Partnering with esteemed brands like JUNG, AXOR, and Louis Poulsen ensures a luxurious experience that seamlessly blends indoor comfort with outdoor tranquility. By fostering a dialogue between LumiPod and Villa Besson, both aspiring to harmonize architecture and nature, this project pays homage to Jean Balladur’s vision articulated in his seminal treatise, ‘Le dedans et le dehors,’ published in the ‘Revue des Temps Modernes’ in 1949.
