Los Panchos: sustainable luxury living for beach lovers

Zozaya Arquitectos (ZAR) unveils Los Panchos, a housing complex on Saladita Beach in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, catering to surfers and beach lovers. The organic shell of the building features curved walls and fluid arches, avoiding conventional forms and angles. Los Panchos preserves the coastal charm by maximizing views, solar orientation, and ventilation, while combining both traditional and modern design elements. Construction employs sustainable methods and locally sourced materials like wood, stone, and clay, emphasizing energy efficiency, and incorporating green building techniques as well as renewable energy sources.

Zozaya Arquitectos’ ocean-view houses harmonize with nature

Los Panchos by ZAR features 15 luxury ocean-view residences spread across three buildings, each with three levels and five units. Amenities include private garages, a pool, administrative facilities, service areas, and vegetable gardens with fruit trees, all within lush green spaces. Ground floor units open onto semi-public green areas, while upper-level units provide views of the ocean and the Sierra Madre mountains. The Mexico-based architecture studio has designed the complex to harmonize with the natural beauty of Saladita Beach, enhancing the landscape and blending with the environment.
